Catch My Disease This song makes me so unnervingly happy I could puke.
I won't say I quit. There isn't a sentence on earth that retains less credibility, 'cept maybe "I have read and understood the terms and conditions". I will say that I am simply not smoking right now, and that I'm on day four. So far, the benefits seem to be scarce. The likelihood of increased longevity is a good one. On the other hand, I can feel myself becoming more and more insufferably self-righeous with every day I spend as a non-smoker.
I haven't really felt the urge to have a cigarette until yesterday. Hier, c'était l'Enfer. So many reasons and opportunities to fill my lungs with tar. I really had to keep myself busy. After my computer science exam, I went to pick up a quarter from Dil's, and hit my very first bt without batch. Lemon Meringue Kush. I was fried until three hours later. Know what goes great with a high grade buzz? A du Maurier, that's what. Still, I soldiered on. I sobered up as I played cod with Rico. The biggest test had yet to come. Jazz called me over for cards and beers with the guys, and that means regular cigar breaks. Luckily, it came to my knowledge that night that a longtime chain smoker and old friend of mine has successfully kicked the habit. I've got myself a sponsor.
